Felix Dennis Talks
Interview with billionaire Felix Dennis (Maxim and The Week magazine):
On entrepreneurs: The percentage of people who actually get rich is very small, and the collateral damage to your life is very high. As long as you’re prepared to fail again and again first. Anyone of reasonable intelligence can succeed and make substantial sums of money if they’re prepared to make the sacrifices.
On bankers: There are certain professions, the financial sector being one, where your are massively overpaid. But those days are ending. Those bankers, they’re not part of a virtuous circle. They are pond life. Whatever an entrepreneur is, she or he is not pond life. They have meaning.
On emails: About 70% of emails are ass-covering. People send them to one another so they can say, “Oh, but I told you.”
